By performing a double-line incision, a new incision is made lower down without excising the skin, which allows us to significantly lower the fold line.

The double-line incision itself does not narrow the upper eyelid space.

However, if you previously had weak eye-opening muscles due to a high double eyelid fold and used your eyebrows to open your eyes, performing ptosis correction concurrently

will improve your eye-opening strength. As you stop using your eyebrows, they will naturally lower, which can make the upper eyelid space appear narrower.
