Which areas are you having surgery on?

Q: Which areas are you having surgery on?

A: Revision eye surgery and revision rhinoplasty.

What are your concerns regarding your eyes?

Q: What are your concerns regarding your eyes?

A: My concern is that I have a lot of fat in my eyelids, making the double eyelid line look thick.

In the past, my eyes were a bit smaller than they are now,

and I had hidden double eyelids, but one side appeared and then disappeared.

My first eye surgery was an incisional method 6 years ago.

First of all, there is too much fat in my eyelids, and the double eyelid line looks a bit thick.

Also, the epicanthal fold area at the front and top seems too covered, so I want to have slightly larger eyes.

Eye Surgeon's PLAN

There is a slight asymmetry between the two double eyelids, so we plan to balance that out.

The left line is slightly higher than the right line, so we will raise the lower right line to match the left side.

Overall, the eyes are somewhat deep-set, and the distance between the eyebrows and the eyes is close, causing the double eyelids to feel a bit covered.

Since this is unavoidable due to the eye structure, we will perform a slight upper epicanthoplasty to make the front line more visible.

The overall plan is to make the eyes look more open and refreshed than they are now and to eliminate the asymmetry.

What are your concerns regarding your nose?

Q: What are your concerns regarding your nose?

A: I have no nose bridge at all, and it looks very wide and spread out from the front.

First, I had no nose bridge at all, and from the front, my nose looked very spread out.

Since the nose bridge and tip looked completely blunt, it just felt a bit squashed?

I had my first rhinoplasty 2 years ago, using silicone for the bridge and only ear cartilage for the tip.

The biggest problem is that the silicone in my nose is moving.

And from the side, the nose tip feels much lower compared to the bridge. These two seem to be the biggest issues.

Q: What method will be used for your nose this time?

A: We decided to use silicone for the nose bridge and septal cartilage for the nose tip.

We will elevate the nose bridge using silicone and the nose tip using septal cartilage,

but if it's not enough, we will use donated rib cartilage.

Q: What improvements are you hoping for through revision rhinoplasty?

A: I hope the nose tip line turns out beautifully to match the nose bridge.

Because I used to have a flat nose, I always thought people with high noses looked pretty.

I hope the nose tip line turns out beautifully to match the nose bridge like this.

Surgeon's PLAN

For the nose, you previously had surgery using ear cartilage and silicone,

but the silicone has shifted slightly to the right, so we will correct that alignment.

Since the tip cartilage is lifted upwards, making the nostrils too visible from the front,

we plan to dissect as much as possible to securely lower and fix it downwards.

Because you want a nose with a slight curve, we will use a curved silicone implant

so that it gives a slight semi-curved profile when viewed from the side.

How do you manage swelling after surgery?

Q: How do you manage swelling after surgery?

A: I plan to manage it with light exercise and pumpkin juice.

I haven't been managing myself much, so I gained 15kg, but I think doing light exercise, drinking pumpkin juice,

and taking good personal care to prevent inflammation is the most important thing.

How was the clinic where you had your surgery?

The interior was clean, and everyone was very kind.

I had a consultation with the surgeon, and since I didn't have a clear standard of

'what kind of eyes I want' or 'what kind of nose I want,' the surgeon perfectly caught

and suggested improvement plans, which left me with no worries and made me think, 'Ah! This is the place.' It really built my trust.

Today, we listened to the pre-surgery story of

Uber's Plastic Surgery real model, Jang Ye-ji.

We will return with more informative content next time😍
