Surgical Areas & Current Condition

​

Q. Which areas did you have surgery on this time?

A: The areas I had surgery on are my eyes, nose, and fat grafting~

​

​

Q: How long has it been since your surgery?

A: It's been about 3 months, but the swelling lasted a long time ㅠ

I didn't realize it was swelling, but when I compare the before and after photos,

I think there was still some swelling left up until 2 weeks ago haha

​

Q: What is your condition like now?

Right now, I feel like there is absolutely no swelling left,

but if I look back a few months from now, I'll probably think, "Oh, I still had swelling back then" haha

​

Post-operative Care

​

Q: How did you manage your post-operative care?

A: I heard a lot of people drink pumpkin juice, so I drank pumpkin juice and

I always applied ice packs before going to bed for almost a month.

​

Q: What kind of care did you receive at the clinic?

A: They said my nose was particularly swollen and had a lot of scar tissue forming, so

I received deswelling laser treatments and scar tissue injections about two times.

They said they will give me one more injection.

I had a lot of deep scar tissue on one side, making my nose look really bulky, but it completely disappeared after getting the injection!!

Pre-op Eye Condition & Surgical Process

​

Q: What were your concerns regarding your eyes before surgery?

A: Before surgery, I only had a double eyelid crease on one side, and the other side would only appear briefly late at night and then disappear, so I used to wear double eyelid tape.

I also had sleepy-looking eyes that were hard to open fully, but it improved a lot after ptosis correction!

​

Also, my eyes were a bit closely set, so if an out-fold line was made too deep,

they would look even closer together, so I asked for an in-out fold.

I think an in-out fold looks pretty on closely set eyes haha

​

Q: How was your eye surgery performed?

I received natural adhesion + ptosis correction.

Because my eyes wouldn't open well and I kept using my forehead to open them, I started getting forehead wrinkles.

Opening my eyes felt more tiring, I only opened them halfway, and I always heard that I looked sleepy. As soon as the doctor saw me,

he said, "Ah! Ptosis correction will be very effective for this!" haha

Q: How do you think your eye shape has changed? After the surgery?

A: First of all, the sleepy look is gone, and I think I give off a much cleaner impression!

​

Pre-op Nose Condition & Surgical Process

Q: How was your nose surgery performed?

A: For my nose, they shaved the hump, performed an osteotomy to match the symmetry, and

filled the sunken glabella with autologous dermis.

And they raised the nasal tip using septal cartilage.

​

Q: How is your nose after the surgery?

A: People around me say it too, but I absolutely love my nose!

​

What has changed since your nose surgery?

A: First of all, my confidence has changed. In the past, I hated taking off my mask even when I could,

and I rarely looked in the mirror. Now, even in situations where I don't have to take off my mask,

I take it off. I think my confidence has changed the most in this regard.

​

Q: How was it when you went for your post-op check-up?

A: I went to get my splint removed about a week later for a check-up.

Up until then, I had no idea how my nose had changed..

When the splint was removed, I was worried because my nose looked a lot smaller, but looking at it later, it turned out really well.

I think I was just used to my pre-surgery appearance, so it felt unfamiliar.

Why did you decide to add fat grafting?

​

Q: Why did you decide to get fat grafting?

A: When I first went, I said I was only doing my eyes and nose, but when I went back for another consultation,

the topic of definitely needing fat grafting came up again, so I firmly decided to get it then!

​

Q: Where did you have the fat grafted?

A: I had it done on my full face, so they harvested fat from my thighs, and my thighs hurt a lot ㅠㅠ

I had to take walks to reduce the swelling, but because the fat harvesting site hurt,

I ended up waddling haha

​

In the past, my face was sunken in various places, making me look a bit like a skeleton,

but after getting fat grafting on my face, I think I look cuter, and the results on my forehead and under-eyes are really good haha

​

Q: You mentioned you didn't really like taking pictures before surgery, but how about these days?

A: In the past, I was always busy covering my face when taking pictures with friends,

but these days, I think they come out well even if I just take them casually haha

I used to have almost no pictures in my photo album, but now I have a lot,

and I didn't even use social media before, but I created an account.. heh

​

Q: How was the clinic where you had your surgery?

It was the largest and cleanest clinic I've ever been to, and the doctor was very sincere and professional!
