The eye area becomes more concerning as aging progresses!

As we age, the skin elasticity of the surrounding tissues in the eye area gradually decreases, causing sagging and wrinkles to appear,

and various problems can occur, such as the descent of under-eye fat.

Today, I would like to review a case of a patient who visited our clinic specifically for bulging under-eye fat.

Before Surgery

This patient is a male in his 30s

who visited us wanting to improve his tired-looking impression caused by the bulging under his eyes.

This patient had bulging under-eye fat as well as dark circles under his eyes.

​

Consultation and Surgical Method

To improve the bulging areas caused by the under-eye fat, we preserved the aegyo-sal (under-eye roll) as much as possible,

released the tear trough ligaments, and relocated the fat to the sunken tear trough area

to flatten the hollowed areas under the eyes through repositioning.

In addition, the dark circles, which were a pre-existing complex, were also improved along with the under-eye fat, resulting in a more youthful appearance.

3 Weeks After Surgery

The previously bulging under-eye area has become flat, and the contours have smoothed out.

The dullness from the dark circles has been improved, significantly reducing the tired appearance,

and giving him a much softer overall impression.
