Today, I will be reviewing a no-implant rhinoplasty case.

​

First of all, the patient specifically requested a no-implant procedure.

She had a dorsal hump, a long nose, and a bulbous nose, and wanted the results to be as natural and harmonious as possible.

​

Before Surgery

Before the surgery, the patient had a high nasal bridge from the glabella but had a slight dorsal hump.

The nasal tip was long and droopy, making the nose appear long from the front and giving it a bulbous look.

​

Consultation and Surgical Process

Since the patient already had a relatively high nasal bridge,

we slightly shaved the dorsal hump and elevated the nasal tip to match the bridge.

While correcting the bulbous tip, we improved the long nose by making it appear shorter.

The patient had sufficient septal cartilage, so we only used septal and ear cartilage.

1st Week Post-Op

As planned, we adjusted the nasal tip to make it look shorter, slightly shaved the hump, and filled the nasal dorsum to ensure a smooth transition without any steps.

We tied the alar cartilages and removed soft tissue to give the nasal tip a slimmer appearance.

Although there is still some swelling and bruising, significant improvement is visible exactly as planned before the surgery.

2nd Week Post-Op

The nasolabial angle, which previously looked sunken inward, has now been brought forward,

giving the entire face more dimension. The swelling and bruising have also subsided significantly.

The nose will continue to become slimmer, but she has already recovered well enough

to go about her daily life without any major issues.
