Weverse's lateral and lower canthoplasty involves making an incision in the skin at the outer corner of the eye to dissect the lower eyelid tarsal plate and the lateral periosteum of the orbit.

By determining the new position of the outer corner and fixating the tarsal plate to the periosteum there, the outer corner is pulled backward and downward.

The remaining skin-mucosal flap is then stretched backward, which minimizes tension and ensures the effect is well-maintained.

In addition, for the lower canthoplasty, an inner conjunctival incision is made and fixated to the lower periosteum or fascia to pull the eyelid down further.

We carefully consider the patient's eye condition to select the most appropriate surgical method, ensuring a definite effect without being excessive or causing side effects.
