Hello~
Your beauty universe! This is Weverse Plastic Surgery :)💖

The patient we are introducing today
experienced a failed primary rhinoplasty,
leaving her with a nasal bridge and tip that did not suit her face.
She decided to undergo revision surgery to lower the nasal bridge
and naturally adjust the angle of the nasal tip.

After consulting with several clinics,
she chose Weverse Plastic Surgery because Dr. Seo Seung-jo
provided the most professional and meticulous explanation based on her CT scans,
covering both the aesthetic changes and functional aspects of the surgery,
which earned her deep trust.

The goals for this surgery were:
✔️ Correcting frontal asymmetry
✔️ Adjusting the position of the nasal tip
✔️ Improving the nasolabial angle
Since her existing autologous cartilage (autologous rib) was in good condition,
we planned to reuse it,
and proceeded with the revision rhinoplasty to create
a more natural and balanced nose line.
Both the patient and our medical team
shared the same hope: "May this be the last surgery!"🙂↔️🙏🙏

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the cartilage used in a previous nose surgery be reused for revision rhinoplasty?
Yes, if the condition of the existing cartilage is good, it can be reused. In the case described, the patient's existing autologous costal cartilage was in good condition, so the revision rhinoplasty plan was made and proceeded with reusing it.
What examinations are used as the basis for consultation for revision rhinoplasty?
Detailed consultations are primarily based on CT scan results. CT scans help to understand the internal structure of the nose and the condition from previous surgeries, allowing for a surgical plan that considers not only aesthetic changes but also functional aspects.
What were the main correction goals for this revision rhinoplasty case?
The main goals were to correct frontal asymmetry, adjust the tip position, and improve the nasolabial angle. The focus was on lowering the bridge that no longer suited the face after the first surgery and naturally adjusting the tip angle to create a balanced line.
Is it possible to lower the bridge in revision surgery if it's too high after the first nose surgery?
Yes, revision surgery to lower the nasal bridge is possible. In this patient's case, the bridge and tip did not match her face well after the first surgery, so the revision surgery was performed to lower the bridge and naturally adjust the tip angle.
