Today's UBER Story is about
UBER Plastic Surgery's Dr. Seung-jo Seo, aka Dr. Ko-Seung-jo,
taking on a rhinoplasty game!
Just as he has outstanding know-how in actual rhinoplasty,
will he be able to show off his skills in the game?
Shall we go watch today's UBER Story together?
The main character who will undergo rhinoplasty today
is named Ashley!
Ashley came to see Dr. Ko-Seung-jo of UBER Plastic Surgery
due to functional problems with her nose!
It is said to be a common case
even among the actual patients who visit our clinic~
To solve the functional problems so she can breathe comfortably,
and to make her look prettier aesthetically,
shall we begin the rhinoplasty in earnest?
After proceeding with sleep anesthesia,
which is the very first step of rhinoplasty, we open the nose!
The blood flowing after dissection
is stopped using a hemostat.
A fact we learned while in the middle of the game!
It was actually a game with a time limit~
At this point, no one knew what consequences this time limit would bring...
When the nasal septum appears,
we use scissors to dissect both sides of the septum!
Through the dissected bilateral septum,
we solve Ashley's functional problem
that made it uncomfortable for her to breathe.
Perhaps because it's a game, there seem to be some parts
that are somewhat different from actual surgery,
but without panicking, for a pretty nose shape,
let's move on to the aesthetic part~
To resolve the aesthetic aspect of Ashley,
who turned out to have a dorsal hump,
we rhythmically shave down the hump with an osteotome and a mallet,
narrow the widened bones, and bend them
to create a sleek nose!
Next, using a needle,
we shape the nasal tip
and just as we are about to suture the cartilage!
The surgery suddenly stops
and an emergency-looking Ashley appears on the screen!
Checking to see what happened,
it turns out the game ended due to a time out...
Dr. Seo having a mental breakdown...
Now that he understands the rules of the game, he boldly tries again!
In an actual surgery, before suturing the nasal tip,
a strut would need to be erected,
but that process was omitted in the game!
Dr. Seung-jo Seo's final score is 3400 points!
Since it was his first time playing the game, there were two misses,
but he still recorded a high score~ You're the best, Doctor!
Dr. Seung-jo Seo of UBER Plastic Surgery's overall review of the game is
