[Uber Plastic Surgery] Finding the Right Double Eyelid Line for You! (feat. Protruding Eyes, Sunken Eyes)

Hello,
This is Uber Plastic Surgery :)
The double eyelid line you want
might not always suit you.
Today, we have prepared a video on
'Finding the Right Double Eyelid Line for You!'
https://youtu.be/hywjQ81X9D4
Explained by Dr. Shim Jung-hwan of Uber Plastic Surgery,
finding the perfect double eyelid line for you!
Let's get started!!

You may have your ideal "wannabe" eyes in mind,
but since everyone's eye types are different,
if you are planning double eyelid surgery,
it is best to find the eye shape that suits you best
before proceeding with the surgery.
Together with Dr. Shim Jung-hwan of Uber Plastic Surgery,
let's check out the characteristics of each line!

First is the hidden double eyelid line (inner double eyelid).
With a hidden double eyelid line, when you open your eyes,
the double eyelid crease is barely visible from the front.
It is generally highly preferred by men
who want larger eyes with a hidden crease.

The in-line is a crease that becomes visible
starting from the middle of the pupil.
If you prefer a natural look,
this is the line we recommend.
However, if the epicanthic fold is too severe and looks stuffy,
it is advisable to combine it with epicanthoplasty or upper canthoplasty.

The out-line starts above the epicanthic fold
and runs parallel to the end of the eye.
It is preferred by those who want
refreshing and glamorous-looking eyes.
However, since the height of the line is elevated,
the distance between the eyes and eyebrows must be considered,
and for those with a lot of eyelid fat or thick skin,
the out-line may not turn out well.

Fourth is the in-out line.
The in-out line starts from the inside of the epicanthic fold
and gradually widens towards the outer corner.
It is a line that suits most Koreans
and is highly preferred.
If you have a stuffy epicanthic fold,
we recommend combining it
with canthoplasty surgery.

Lastly, we have the semi-out line.
This is a recently coined term that is now widely used.
It has a similar shape to the in-out line,
but it slightly widens towards the back,
and it only turns out well if there is no epicanthic fold
or if the epicanthic fold is slightly sharp.

Next, we will recommend double eyelid lines
that suit different eye types.
There are many double eyelid lines,
but depending on whether you have protruding or sunken eyes,
the line that suits you may differ.

Protruding Eyes: Protrudes more than 12-13mm from the lateral orbital rim
Sunken Eyes: Recedes more than 12-13mm from the lateral orbital rim
Check whether your eyes are
protruding or sunken!

Protruding eyes mostly have thin skin,
so even a thin line looks refreshing,
making semi-out and out-lines suitable.
Sunken eyes have a short distance between the eyelashes and eyebrows,
and the skin folds over, which can result in "sausage" double eyelids.
We recommend a natural in-line
or in-out line.
Although we explained by distinguishing between sunken and protruding eyes,
the most important thing is overall harmony with your face,
so if you are considering double eyelid surgery,
it is best to visit a plastic surgery clinic for a consultation.
