Hello~

🙋🏻‍♂️Your beauty universe! I'm Dr. Seo Seung-jo, head director of Uber Plastic Surgery :)🙋🏻‍♂️

I've prepared a few photos,

and for those reading my blog, please take a look at the photos below

and guess 'whether they had rhinoplasty or not'!

You just need to guess!

Shall we begin?👏🏻👏🏻

Here are the frontal and lateral views of the nose.

'Looking at the side profile gives a different vibe.'

'It looks so natural, like their original nose.'

There were various opinions like these.

If we look at the before and after surgery photos side by side,

it looks like this.

The nose was raised significantly enough to eliminate the nasolabial folds,

but it is a nose that does not look obviously operated on.

The frontal view also seems to have changed a bit, but compared to before,

it has changed, yet you can see it's a post-operative nose shape that isn't very obvious.

How about this person?🤔

At the time of filming, the majority of opinions were that it seemed like a natural nose.

Looking at the before and after together, it seems like there isn't much of a difference.

From the patient's perspective, if the before and after surgery look like this, they might feel like it was a bit of a waste of money.

However, if you look at the side profile,

you can clearly see the change in the nose shape compared to the frontal view.

It is essentially a natural-looking nose that doesn't show obvious signs of surgery.

Then let's look at another person.

Did this person have a nose job? Or not?

'It looks like they did, but it's very natural.' (Reaction on set at the time)

The reason it looks natural is

because of the height and angle; the nose tip is slightly higher than the bridge, and there is a curve.

When viewed from the front, it doesn't feel like a lot was done,

but from the side, it definitely gives the impression of having had surgery.

How about another person?

Did they have rhinoplasty, or not?

It's a pointy nose, and anyone can tell it's a nose that has been operated on.

So, is a nose that obviously looks operated on considered unattractive?

And is a nose that doesn't look operated on a waste of money? I'd like to talk about this.

What nuance comes to mind when you think of 'looking like you had plastic surgery'?

First of all, it's true that it carries a slightly stronger negative connotation.

But to be precise, saying it 'looks obvious' means

when someone sees my face for the first time,

it's the degree to which they can sense whether I've had plastic surgery or not.

You can think of it that way.

However, surprisingly, there are quite a few people who ask, 'Please make it look obvious.'

There are advantages, too. It looks very pretty in videos or photos.

In real life, it actually gives a 'wow' feeling at first glance.

Because seeing it in person can give the impression of 'Oh, their nose job was a success,'

having a rhinoplasty that looks obvious

is not necessarily a bad thing, in my opinion.

However, if it's too obvious and has too much of a curve,

or is too pointy, or too high, then that

would become an unattractive obviousness, an unattractive nose.

By the way, Director, do you prefer it to look obvious? Or do you prefer it to look natural?

To be exact, I prefer it not to look obvious.

Even within not looking obvious, there can be two types.

Unnoticeable even to family VS Unnoticeable to strangers

If you ask which is better, I definitely prefer the latter.

The image changes to be very sophisticated and elegant,

but it's to the point where you would never hear strangers say you've had surgery.

That is what I want, and I believe many people want that as well.

Wouldn't the patient not know whether it will look obvious or not after surgery? If they don't know, what standards should they set?

I think having a clear goal during surgery is important.

In reality, when setting up a surgical plan, some people really wanted it to look obvious,

but when they see their post-operative appearance, they feel too much of a disconnect and get flustered.

Because things like this can happen,

I think the most important thing is to set that goal accurately.

What if they really don't have a goal but just want to become prettier?

I will set it exactly for you.😄

Looking at photos, I'll tell you it will turn out like this.

I will clearly tell you that your image will change a lot.

If we do that, even if it feels awkward for about 1 or 2 weeks, from then on,

I think most people are satisfied.

When we say it looks obvious, I don't think looking obvious is necessarily a bad thing.

For me as well, the tendency I pursue is

that while it doesn't look obvious, your image

definitely changes into a sophisticated and elegant one,

which is what I tend to recommend.

Whatever kind of plastic surgery you want, what's more important is

that you do it with the hope that once you get plastic surgery, it will last a lifetime,

so I hope you set an accurate goal and undergo plastic surgery,

and before getting the surgery, have a thorough consultation

and make the decision together with your doctor.
