There can be several symptoms. You might notice a foul odor from inside the nose, or experience a reaction and a feeling of a foreign body.

Additionally, symptoms such as swelling or redness of the nose may occur when you are fatigued, such as after heavy drinking or working late.

If acne or sebum repeatedly appears in the same area, it can also be suspected as a progression towards a contracted nose.

As this micro-inflammation repeats, the capsule surrounding foreign materials like silicone thickens and shortens, pulling the skin.

The existing cartilage cannot withstand this tension, leading to deformities such as the nose turning up, deviating, or looking pinched.
