Today, we will be reviewing a case of Natural Adhesion and Ptosis Correction.

The patient visited us with their biggest concern being sleepy-looking eyes.

​

The desired style was to have eyes that are as horizontally long and as clear as possible, similar to actor Lee Jin-wook.

For such sleepy-looking eyes, non-incisional double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction are more important.

​

In the case of eyes like Lee Jin-wook's, the double eyelid is barely visible, almost like an inner double eyelid,

but the eyes are very clear and horizontally long.

Before Surgery

Before the surgery, the patient had very weak eye-opening muscle strength, showing many multiple folds

and a high double eyelid crease.

​

Consultation & Surgery Process

We set the double eyelid crease low so it looks like an inner double eyelid, as similar to Lee Jin-wook as possible.

Especially for men, if the bottom looks slightly round or elongated downwards—what we call 'puppy eyes'—

it can result in feminine-looking eyes.

When requesting corner canthoplasty or lateral and lower canthoplasty,

we recommend horizontal lengthening for most men.

For this patient as well, rather than pulling the corners down a lot,

we designed it to look horizontally longer by fixing it as far back as possible.

1 Week Post-Op

Looking at the photos from 1 week post-op, there is still some swelling and bruising,

but the eye-opening strength has improved significantly, and the horizontal length of the eyes has been extended,

making the eyes look refreshing and clear.
