Before Surgery

This patient is a female in her 30s who

had natural adhesion double eyelid surgery 10 years ago.

​

Now, as time has passed, the overall double eyelid line has lowered,

and the front line is covered, making the double eyelid look like an in-fold.

​

The patient preferred horizontally long eyes,

wanted a thin and long line, and wished to improve the currently covered front line.

​

Diagnosis and Surgical Method

Due to her eye structure, this patient has a relatively strong epicanthal fold, making it a case where the front line needs to be set above the epicanthal fold.

If we forcefully raised it and created a strong hold with an incisional method, it could rather result in an unnatural double eyelid.

Therefore, we decided to proceed with a non-incisional method, designing it to create a thin semi-out fold look.

​

She also wanted horizontal lengthening, but there was not enough space for a canthoplasty. Since line correction alone seemed sufficient to achieve the effect,

we proceeded with only the non-incisional double eyelid surgery.

​

To reduce the possibility of the front line loosening, we added an extra fixation point on each side.

​

2 Weeks Post-Op

Looking at the photos from 2 weeks post-op, by setting the front line slightly above the epicanthal fold,

the inner corners of the eyes have changed to an open shape even without an epicanthoplasty.

As the swelling subsided, the line became slightly thinner as desired,

completing the look of horizontally long eyes.
