Doesn't incisional double eyelid surgery look unnatural?

Many people think that incisional double eyelid surgery will result in an unnatural appearance. There are two main reasons for this,

The first is 'scarring'.

The biggest difference between the incisional and non-incisional methods is whether there is a scar or not.

Especially if the scar is highly visible, it can be noticeable and look unnatural.

Widened scars, indented scars, or scars that have turned white can give an unnatural impression.

The second reason is even more important, and that is the 'depth' of the double eyelid.

A double eyelid that is too deep looks unnatural.

A sausage double eyelid refers to when the lower part of the eyelid below the fold looks thick and puffy, which happens when the line is too thick.

If you get too greedy and aim for a high line, the result will be a sausage-like double eyelid.

This is not solely due to the difference in their innate skin types.

There are reasons why scars become noticeably visible.

First of all, scars are less visible on thin skin than on thick skin.

Also, removing too much muscle or fat can cause indented scars.

The conclusion is that not all incisional surgeries leave a lot of scars, and it is possible to perform the surgery in a way that minimizes scarring.

Does swelling last longer with incisional double eyelid surgery?

In that case, we have to make the best use of the remaining materials to produce good results,

so it can inevitably be difficult and burdensome.

Just because you had incisional surgery doesn't mean revision surgery is always difficult; it is difficult when there is no extra skin or fat.
