Reason for Revision Rhinoplasty

​

The reason our Uber Plastic Surgery staff member

decided to undergo revision rhinoplasty

was because her nose looked long and

she was dissatisfied with the line.

​

​

When Dr. Seo Seung-jo of Uber Plastic Surgery examined her,

he noted that the columella was drooping and the nasal tip looked depressed,

making the nose appear both short

and long at the same time.

​

The Hardest Part After Rhinoplasty

​

Our Uber Plastic Surgery staff member

mentioned that the hardest part after revision rhinoplasty

was the swelling.

Because her nose looked swollen and bulbous,

the period waiting for the swelling to subside

seemed to be the most difficult to endure. :)

Symptoms that may appear after

revision rhinoplasty or primary rhinoplasty

include swelling, a deviated nose, and bleeding.

​

These issues will resolve

as time passes, swelling reduces,

and the incisions heal,

so you do not need to worry too much.

​

Can the Nasal Tip Be Made to Move Naturally?

​

Usually, immediately after primary or revision rhinoplasty,

the nasal tip may appear quite high.

This is because the surgery is performed in anticipation

of the nose lowering due to skin tension.

During the recovery process after surgery,

it will drop to a natural height,

and the originally designed shape of the nose

will emerge.

It is possible to perform rhinoplasty

so that the nasal tip can move naturally,

but it is difficult to raise it too high in this case.
