Today, I would like to review a rhinoplasty case.

Before Surgery

This patient had wide alar bases (nostrils) and a slightly deviated nose,

giving the impression of an overall large and spread-out nose.

They visited our clinic because they felt their nose looked long due to a dorsal hump,

and especially longer when smiling.

Looking at the pre-operative photos, the nasolabial angle is relatively deep,

and the nasal tip appears noticeably upturned from both the frontal and 45-degree lateral views.

2 Weeks to 2 Months After Surgery

Up until the 2nd week, which is the early post-operative period, the nasolabial angle may still appear prominent,

leaving a slight impression of an upturned nose.

However, looking at the 2-month mark, you can see that the nasolabial angle has naturally settled inward,

the nasal tip is positioned much more stably, and the overall impression has softened.
