Hello~
Your beauty universe! This is Weverse Plastic Surgery :)

Q: Lifting recommendations by age group!
✔️ Early 20s
Lasers are ultimately meant to build elasticity,
but in your early 20s, your skin still has plenty of natural elasticity to recover.
If you are in this age group and looking for care,
we recommend skin boosters or very simple laser treatments.
However, if you have significant hollowing in your temples, forehead, or cheeks,
fat grafting can be a very good alternative.
Q: What kind of lifting after the mid-20s?
✔️ Mid-20s

From your mid-20s, slight sagging begins to occur.
At this point, many people opt for laser lifting or thread lifting.
For reference, thread lifting lasts a year and a half at most.
It does not last longer than that.
It lifts and holds the sagging cheeks,
and the collagen within the threads creates tightness,
so it should be viewed as a form of maintenance.
In the case of a double chin, the muscle itself often becomes loose,
and the fat inside the muscle sags.
In that case, we recommend a double chin muscle tie (platysmaplasty)
or liposuction.
✔️ 30s

From your 30s, you can consider it the time when
localized sagging begins to appear.
Localized sagging means
the amount of skin sagging on the face isn't extensive yet,
so even a slight pull can restore elasticity.
You can see results with lifting lasers,
and after that, thread lifting is also highly effective.
By making a small incision in the scalp or behind the ear
to pull and secure the SMAS tissue inward,
you can also see great results with a mini lifting.
✔️ 40s

There are cases where the skin sags and the bone structure becomes visible.
In such cases, you may need to add a lot of volume to the face
or physically pull the skin.
In these situations, even if you do laser lifting like Ultherapy,
it might not show results,
and thread lifting can also be ineffective.
Therefore, in your 40s, you may need to move toward a mini lifting (mini facelift)
or a facelift surgery, such as a partial facelift, which provides a strong pulling effect.
If you do opt for laser lifting,
we recommend radiofrequency (RF) lifting lasers that improve skin elasticity.
✔️ 50s

For those who have lost a lot of skin elasticity and have severe sagging,
we recommend a full facelift (+ fat grafting).
If you have less sagging,
we recommend a lifting method with a narrower incision range,
such as a partial facelift.
✔️ 60s
This is the age group where full facelifts are performed in earnest.
However, the most important factor at this stage is your overall health.
Because a facelift involves a larger surgical area,
your physical health has a significant impact on the surgical outcome.
If you have conditions like high blood pressure, you may bleed a lot during surgery,
or your blood pressure may be difficult to control post-surgery,
which can drastically alter the final results.

Also, from your 60s, sagging is no longer localized but affects the entire face.
If you only pull the sagging areas, the rest of the skin may become uneven and bumpy.
Therefore, we recommend continuously receiving RF-based laser lifting for skin elasticity
or consistently managing your skin elasticity with skin boosters.
(However, thread lifting is not recommended.)

Ultimately, the most important thing in lifting and anti-aging is
"You must consistently manage your skin elasticity."
This is what we want to emphasize.
- Summary -
✅ Ultrasound-based lasers, skin boosters, and sun protection
should naturally be maintained as part of your regular routine.
✅ When localized sagging begins,
resolve it with thread lifting or a mini lifting.
✅ Later, when overall sagging begins and significant hollowing occurs,
a facelift is necessary.
