Hello everyone~
🤗Your beauty universe! This is Wevers Plastic Surgery :)🤗

Today, we would like to introduce a case of a revision rhinoplasty patient
who trusted our clinic and visited us from overseas.

The patient had their first nose surgery approximately 5 years prior to the revision surgery date.
At that time, a silicone implant was inserted into the nose bridge, and nose tip surgery was also performed.
However, about a year after the surgery, once the swelling subsided,
the nose bridge still appeared lower than expected,
and the result was significantly different from the image they desired, leading to great disappointment.
After that, they contemplated revision surgery for about 5 years,
and this time, they bravely decided to undergo revision rhinoplasty again.
The reason they chose Wevers Plastic Surgery was that
after carefully comparing various post-surgery review photos,
they felt confident that we could create ‘a natural nose that best suited them’.
They told us that this conviction led them to visit our clinic.

The patient's biggest need was a nose with the most beautiful line when viewed from the side after surgery,
similar to influencers.
During the consultation process, we thoroughly discussed their desired direction,
comparing reference photos they brought themselves.
They gained greater trust and confidence in Director Seo Seung-jo's specific and detailed surgical plan and clear direction during this process.

Frequently Asked Questions
What materials were used for the revision rhinoplasty?
Yes, in this case, autologous costal cartilage was used. Autologous costal cartilage revision rhinoplasty was performed according to the patient's condition and needs, along with correction of a bulbous nose, saddle nose, and nasolabial angle to create a three-dimensional line.
When did you decide to undergo revision rhinoplasty after the first surgery?
The decision was made about one year after the surgery, once the swelling had subsided. After the swelling went down, the bridge of the nose still looked lower than expected, and the results differed from the desired image, leading to a revision surgery after about 5 years of consideration.
What was the patient's primary desire for the revision rhinoplasty?
The patient wanted a nose that, when viewed from the side, would have a beautifully defined line, similar to influencers. Based on reference photos brought during the consultation, a surgical plan was established with the goal of achieving a natural yet well-suited nose line.
What corrective surgeries were included in the revision rhinoplasty plan?
Three corrective procedures were included along with the revision rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage. Specifically, correction of a bulbous nose to improve a blunt nasal tip, correction of a saddle nose to refine the bridge line, and correction of the nasolabial angle to adjust the angle between the nose and lips were performed simultaneously.
