Hello~
your beauty universe! This is Uber Plastic Surgery :)
Today, we will look at a real patient who had surgery at our clinic along with their photos.
Peach UP Lifting, Jawline Lifting (Case Analysis)

A female patient in her 40s visited our clinic to improve her nasolabial folds and jawline.
Pre-operative Analysis

Patient's condition before surgery
She is a 40-year-old female patient with a youthful face shape, but overall sagging has begun.
She doesn't have much volume, but fortunately, her skin's fat layer was not too firm and was moderately soft.
Front Cheek
In particular, the medial side is sunken, and from a 45-degree angle, it stands out with a bumpy appearance.
As a result, the fat tissue above the nasolabial folds looks relatively more bulging and sagging.
Since her face shape doesn't have highly prominent cheekbones, we planned to pull it up slightly stronger,
and set the thread vector direction a bit more outward.
Jawline
It looks fine from the front, but sagging is visible from a 45-degree angle.
If you look next to the corners of her mouth, marionette lines are starting to show,
and behind that, there is a slightly rounded, sagging feel.
Since she didn't have much volume to begin with,
her jawline was probably so clean before aging that she had nothing to worry about.
Therefore, even a slight sag would make her feel like it's not the same as before.
It would be best to set the thread vector direction emphasizing the vertical direction more than usual.
Consultation and Surgical Process

For the front cheeks and nasolabial folds, Peach UP Lifting was used,
and for the mouth area and jawline, Jawline Lifting was performed by setting separate starting points.
For the front cheeks, we targeted the fat tissue around the nasolabial folds below the alar level and pulled it up with threads,
gathering the volume toward the sunken-looking center of the front cheek,
making the face look shorter and more vibrant.
We used 2 Mint threads and 3 Peach threads on each side.
For the mouth area and jawline, we pulled them not too strongly, just enough to refine the line,
and used 2 Mint threads on each side.
In cases with low volume, pulling too strongly can cause a dimpled appearance right after,
so we released those areas as much as possible during the surgery.
Post-operative Progress

For thread lifting, we explain the results to the patient after they recover from anesthesia on the day of the surgery.
The bulging part near the nasolabial folds was slightly tucked in while the volume was well gathered toward the front cheekbones,
and at the same time, the lower part of the nasolabial folds shows improvement.
The nasolabial folds right next to the alar are difficult to improve,
so we sometimes recommend nasolabial fold fillers, but the patient did not want them and was satisfied with the current results.
Especially in the 45-degree view (where the patient is looking 45 degrees to the right, the right facial line),
you can see that the front cheekbone has been smoothly filled with volume.
The marionette lines around the mouth have also faded,
and you can see the jawline has been refined, giving a more extended look.
.
After about 2 weeks when all the swelling subsides, we may release any remaining dimpling
or reinforce threads in lacking areas,
but if there are no specific issues, further visits are not necessary.

Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of threads are used for Peach Lifting procedures?
Yes, Mint threads and Peach threads are used together. In the case of the 40-year-old female mentioned in the main text, 2 Mint threads and 3 Peach threads were used per side to improve the anterior cheeks and nasolabial folds, and 2 Mint threads were used for the jawline for lifting.
When does the swelling completely subside after thread lifting surgery?
It usually takes about 2 weeks. We check the progress after 2 weeks when all the swelling has subsided, and if there are still dimples where the skin appears sunken or areas where the lifting is insufficient, we reinforce or loosen the threads at that time.
I have low facial volume. Can I have a strong thread lift?
No, if you have low volume, pulling too strongly can make the skin appear sunken. Therefore, for areas with less volume, such as around the mouth or jawline, the threads should not be pulled too strongly, just enough to refine the line, and any sunken areas during the surgery are loosened as much as possible for natural correction.
Can deep nasolabial folds right next to the nose completely disappear with thread lifting?
No, nasolabial folds right next to the nose are difficult to improve with thread lifting alone. Thread lifting is effective in pulling up the bulging fat below the nasolabial folds, and if you want to further improve deep wrinkles next to the nose, combining it with filler treatment is often recommended.
