Hello~

๐Ÿ’ŒYour beauty universe! This is Uverse Plastic Surgery.๐Ÿ’Œ

Today's patient had two previous rhinoplasties at another clinic

and is now undergoing her third rhinoplasty at our clinic.

๐Ÿ‘‡Reasons for deciding on a third rhinoplasty

I previously had two rhinoplasties,

but after the second surgery, my nose became too high.

It felt so unnatural that it caused discomfort in my daily life,

and I frequently heard from people around me that my nose shape looked awkward,

which led me to decide on a revision surgery.

โ€‹

Q: Why did you choose Uverse Plastic Surgery?

I personally visited and consulted with a total of 7 clinics.

Among them, I heard that Dr. Seo Seung-jo has extensive experience in

contracted nose surgeries, which are known to be the most difficult among rhinoplasties.

I also heard that many Japanese patients get their surgeries at Uverse,

so I decided to proceed with my surgery here as well.

โ€‹

Q: What are your expectations after the revision rhinoplasty?

First of all, what I expect after the surgery is that when viewed from the front,

I hope my nostrils are less visible.

โ€‹

Also, from the side, it is currently too high, so after the surgery,

I hope it changes into a natural line.

โ€‹

Lastly, my nasal tip is too pointy,

so I would like it to be made as round as possible.

โ€‹

The most important thing to me is that

since my eyes are large and distinct,

I want a harmonious nose that suits my face well.

โ€‹

Doctor! I look forward to your great work๐Ÿ˜˜

In the patient's case, looking at the frontal photo, due to the reasons below,

the nose did not look pretty even after the surgery.

โ€‹

โœ”๏ธ The nostrils are very visible, and it looks somewhat pinched and deviated.

โœ”๏ธ In the profile photo, the nasal bridge is too high and the tip appears upturned.

How does it look when viewing the pre-operative CT scan?

โ€‹

Silicone should be inserted from the glabella to the nasal tip,

but the silicone gets extremely high towards the nasal tip.

If it was raised this much, the nasal tip should have been lowered further, but it wasn't.

In this case, it seems the previous design itself was slightly flawed.

โ€‹

Looking at this patient's past surgical history,

she had her first rhinoplasty in Japan, her second in Korea,

and is now undergoing her third surgery at our clinic.

โ€‹

It seems it was a much more challenging nose to operate on than expected.

This is because even a slight mistake in the design can result in this kind of shape.

If you look at her nose before her first surgery,

the alar wings were drooping and the nasal tip was quite large.

โ€‹

So when she had her surgery in Japan,

she underwent alar reduction while slightly reducing and lowering the nasal tip.

In a way, it feels like that much would have been just enough.๐Ÿ˜ฅ

This is the side profile after the first rhinoplasty. You might think, "Isn't this good enough?"

Is there any difference in the frontal photo?

At this point, the frontal appearance probably didn't change much,

which seems to be why she had her second surgery in Korea.

โ€‹

So she underwent surgery again in Korea, inserting silicone,

but the problem with the surgery in Korea was

that the nasal tip was not lowered enough.

โ€‹

It seems the septal cartilage inside was quite insufficient.

โ€‹

Because the nasal tip couldn't be lowered with that insufficient cartilage, looking at the CT scan,

since the cartilage was lacking, they ended up resolving everything from start to finish with silicone.

Eventually, the feel of this curve gradually sagged,

and it dropped significantly like this, becoming even shorter.

โ€‹

Therefore, the core of this third rhinoplasty is

โ˜…being able to sufficiently lower

the nasal tip using cartilage (autologous rib).โ˜…

โ€‹

Another key point is that

if the nostrils do not follow along when the nasal tip is sufficiently lowered with cartilage,

it can later turn into a dragon-like nose (retracted alae). To prevent this from happening

with such a difficult nose,

the nose shape must be adjusted in detail during surgery.

So, the surgical plan this time is to first remove the silicone and lower the nasal tip

sufficiently to the extent that the nostrils can be brought down.

Looking at the side profile, you might feel, 'It's a bit lacking, isn't it slightly upturned?'

but doing so prevents the nose from looking too long from the front.

The starting point of the nose needs to be lowered a bit compared to before so that when viewed from the side,

the upturned appearance changes into a more settled look,

and once the surgery is finished, it will transform into a natural appearance, right?๐Ÿ™†โ€โ™‚๏ธ
